3 STARS WHO DIED IN THEIR EARLY 20’S IN THE CREATIVE ART INDUSTRY.

“Crying is a way your eyes speak, When your mouth can’t explain how broken your heart is”. The sudden death of the dancehall artiste Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng popularly known as Ebony Reigns has brought to mind three great key personalities who we have lost in the creative art industry society.

The dancehall artiste, who died on the evening of Thursday, 8th February, 2018 in a fatal accident from Sunyani after a visit to the family, was involved in a car accident and was taken by God at the Bechem Government Hospital.

Her style of music was unique of which it was of no doubt that she would be the Vodaphone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste Of Year 2017/2018.Looking at her songs under the year review, Ebony has released hit after hit within a year with songs like “Maame Hwe”, ”Kupe”, ”Poision”, ”Slow Down” and many others.  The” Maame Hwe” hit maker died at the age of 20 and would have been 21 on 16th February.

“The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living” this is according to “Marcus Tullius Cocero” Let me walk you 15 years down the line, when the country was in the state of shock when the famous Ghananian hip life young and talented artiste who died on October 29th 2003 Terry Okang Mensah Adjetey popularly known Terry Bonchaka.

Terry Bonchaka met his death at the wrong time in a gruesome accident .The ”Pulerler” hitmaker died on Friday, October 29th 2003  after performing at the Akuafo Hall of the University Of Ghana in their Hall Week Celebration.

Terry was fun to watch and to listen. His brand climbed the international scene. His appearance on stage caught the attention of audience with his hold my tights and leaves my leg costume with a comb in his hair. Unfortunately, at the age of 21 years, death laid his icy hands on the magnificent and artistic gift God had given to mankind.

“The physical separation of death is painful than placing your finger in fire”. The movie industry saw a great gift that ever happened to this industry; let’s cast our minds back to the African hit film” Together Forever”. She played some major roles in the film arena including” Mother’s Heart”, “Comforter”, “Bloody Mary” and” Calamity”.

She is the late Suzy Williams who died September 8, 2005. She died at the age of 23years in a fatal car accident. A memorial fund was launched in her memory, The Suzy Williams Memorial Fund to aid victims of road traffic accidents.
