The Head of Communication at Charter House,George Quaye has said that,they don’t have any beef with Ghana’s biggest media network GHONE TV,their past Media Partners for the Vodafone Music Awards.
Yesterday,Charter House signed a partnership agreement with Ghana’s long serving private media house The Media General to take coverage of this year’s Vodafone Music Awards.This agreement became a surprise to the general public and placing a question mark in the minds of Ghanaians asking themselves why the Media General.
This change has shocked Ghanaians because in the past years GHONE TV has been the media partner for the Vodafone Music Awards events that has recorgnized the toils of the artistes in the music space in this part of our country.
George Quaye speaking Zylofon Media indicated that, GHONE TV embraced the change made by Charter House and saw no problem with the move.
He added that,they have been approached by many media houses to take coverage of this year’s VGMA)and they chose who should take coverage or not.
He urged media houses to accept the change to ensure growth in the industry and not to tag negativity to the news that comes across.
