It is seems we have all forgotten about the Minister Of Tourism, Culture and Creative Art speech on building the Akwaaba Hotels for tourists. Well, Mr David Anoledjerme a political and entertainment expert has described Madame Catherine Afeku’s plan to erect the Akwaaba Hotels as needless.
The political and entertainment expert speaking to Supa Asante on Showbiz Today on a Kasoa based online radio station Supreme Africa Radio said the government should concentrate on constructing roads leading to the hotels rather than building new hotels.
He added that it is not the sole responsibility of the government to build hotels and this initiative should be looked into holistically. He further hinted that, the government should focus on infrastructure will be the best to put the tourism and creative art industry and Ghana in front line.
The Minister Of Tourism, Culture and Creative Art Madame Catherine Afkeu met the media on the 29th January at the Meet The Press event at the Ministry of Information when this statement was made known to the public .
