Ghanaian hiplife musician Eugene Ashie popularly known in the showbiz as Wisa Greid, has said he will not be surprised if he gets a BET award for his hard work.
The BET award is an honour awarded by The Recording Academy to recognise outstanding achievement in the mainly English-language music industry.
The 2016 Vodafone Ghana music Award nominee, speaking on Daily View Gh showbiz with Dan Kwasi Prince said he wouldn’t be surprised for gaining that BET nomination because he worked hard.
“I will be honest, I am not trying to be arrogant or anything but because of who I am, I always expect something good to happen to me because I put my 100 per cent in anything that I do. I don’t know why I can’t get another Grammy nomination and can’t win it even, so I am that kind of person, I have a positive mind, I have positive people around me, I work really hard. So, if I should get a BET today, I won’t be surprised,” she told show host Dan Kwasi Prince.
Wisa will release his brand new 2018 song ‘Mama k3 Dada’ within next February, which was produce by Ghana finest music maker Deejay Breezy.
