Here is some good news for underground artistes ready to work hard to penetrate through the music fraternity. The famous upcoming Hiplife rap genius Koo Ntakra said, he is willing to offer help to underground artistes determine to attain greater height in the music industry.

The winner of the second season of the popular MTN Hitmaker a Tv reality show, spoke on Showbiz hosted by Supa Asante on Supreme Radio, a Kasoa based online radio station on an exclusive interview some two months ago.

According to him, he is ready to feature in their songs, music videos and live shows. He added that, he is only eager to give his assistance to serious upcoming artistes focused on their music career stating a popular proverb “Heaven help those who help themselves”.

The Eastern Regional based hiplife rap artiste in recent times has been a strong advocate for underground artistes, pleading with Television and Radio presenters to pay key attention, playing and hyping underground artist songs. He added that, the current underground artist holds the future in the music industry they have great lyrical content.

“We the upcoming artist will take over the industry if the likes of Sarkodie, Obrafour, Edem, Flowking Stone, Stonebowy, Samini, Shatta Wale, etc retires or are no more. We are not receiving the necessary support “he stated emphatically.

After he made this comments, he was misinterpreted by the media that he said “the media should stop playing songs by Sarkordie and Shatta Walle”. But the hiplife rap musician debunked reports made by radio and television personalities.

Songs by Koo Ntakra has been enjoyed by the general public with hit songs such as,’wurawurafo’,’move back’,’3suro’ since he won the MTN Hitmaker season two.
